Pose

Today I present Thor the gray tabby as he posed on a bench.

He’s a pretty boy, scared of everything, except mice and bugs, which he brings in from the catio, sometimes still alive.

Face time

Izzy the calico cat has not had much face time on the blog lately, so here she is being her regal self in a basket I was getting ready to pack up for a spinning demonstration.

Another one down

Thor the gray tabby brought another mouse into the house. At least this time he dispatched it himself. The last one hid under the couch and Sophie the calico cat had to take care of it.

You shall not pass

Sophie the dilute calico cat wanted to come in the house to deliver her newly caught mouse to her favorite person, my eldest. I did not let her in. My eldest went out to her to give her praise for being a good hunter, then Sophie went off to eat her mouse.

Another cat, probably Thor, did manage to bring in a rodent, then lost it under the couch. Later that night Sophie dispatched it and left bits for my eldest in her room. Presents. Hm.

Gate keeping

I’m fairly certain the the gatekeeper in the photo above is Izzy the calico cat. Although Thor the gray tabby is effectively blocking her from coming in, I think she has the preferred spot, so doesn’t care, giving her the advantage.
