All that room and they both sit on one seat. I even put a fuzzy blanket on the back seat!! (Full disclosure, picture was taken parked in the school pick up line. No dangerous cell phone use.) This is the first time Griffin has let Missy up beside him. He seems to be regretting his decision.
Little Missy needs a buddy. All the time, poor wee thing. When I’m busy and the kids are at school, she will even sidle up to the cats, as close as they will allow! Today is a good day for cute puppy pictures. If you haven’t voted, today’s the day! If you have voted, well done! Now look at puppy pictures, and be kind to one another.
Missy the puppy has reached 11.6 pounds. This makes her officially heavier than Izzy the cat. Not longer, just with more weight. They take up my whole lap. The cat still rules the house, though, which is as it should be.
Little puppy had fur in her line of sight. She is jumpy, and when I file her nails, she chews on the file. I did not want her to flinch or gnaw when I was trimming the hair around her eyes! So I waited until she fell asleep on my lap, and gently, quietly, gave her a little trim. I was worried about making the white hairs look strange, but it came out OK. When she woke from her nap, she could see!
Our little Missy is really developing quite the personality. She is totally attached to Izzy the cat, as well as her boy Griffin. Izzy is her nap partner! When I can’t provide a lap for the two of them, she curls up as close as she can get to her buddy.
Missy has been shadowing me in the kitchen because she discovered that sometimes I drop things. I dropped a bit of canned mushroom, and she decided that it was better to play with than eat! Here is the video.
Her foot is all healed from her sprain, and she is rip tearing around the yard again. Silly puppy.
