Meadow cat

Sophie in the wild flowers

This is Sophie’s meadow. She likes to hang out there and seems to be the queen of this space since I rarely see other female cats there. Or maybe she is more confident out in the open because she has the best camouflage in the neighborhood. I just had to take her picture as she stood in the cut daisies (yellow), hedge parsley (white), and Indian blankets (red and orange).

Round cat in a round pot

Cat in a pot

Because it has been such a long month, here is a cute cat sitting in a pot to end your April with a smile. No, I didn’t try to plant anything in this pot. I put it back out for the cat when she rejected the woven basket and then the woven basket developed mold. Ok, kitty, you can have the plant pot.

Spot the cat

Can you find the cat?

Little stinker. I put up the sunscreens and Sophie thought she can wiggle into the coop like she did last year (she can walk on the fabric, but not the wire). She forgot that I used 2x4s to block her entrance. So she’ll settle for looking over the edge like a gargoyle.
