When you bark like a dog, but identify with cats.

Today, to help fill the cuteness quota, I present our cat Sophie sleeping with a tiny stuffed alpaca.

That is all.
Sophie the cat is quite put out when Griffin the dog cuddles on her favorite couch.

So Sophie, out of spite maybe, takes Missy’s bed, much to Missy’s confusion (although honestly, Sophie looks quite perplexed as well).

Eventually, it all worked out the way it is supposed to, and at least Sophie and Missy are content.

Don’t worry about Griffin, his favorite place is in his crate where he can have some quiet time.
As I predicted, my meadow fall sculpture is a continuous project. I added iris leaves to the bodice, and pumpkins at her feet. She is now also bedecked with an antler crown from two of the smaller antlers I obtained this week.

The neighborhood cats find her fascinating as well, as they sit by her feet, or maybe she offers the only hiding spot in the open meadow! I was hoping to get a better picture of the white cat, but I moved wrong and she (?) took off.

Sophie the cat is checking out Taco the Faverolle hen. Our neighbor’s cats also come to watch the chickens, and the chickens watch them. Thank goodness for strong hardware cloth between the two.
