Laundry goblin aka Izzy the cat

Pretty boy

Today I present to you Mr Tom licking his chops.

Mr Tom

I am in the middle of so many projects, with no end in sight for most of them. I may have to start posting about progress rather than completion. And of course this time of year is crazy busy for all aspects of life, so a good dose of cat posts probably won’t be amiss.

Two cat catio

Sophie and Izzy in the catio

Oh my goodness, we have reached a new level of tolerance. Our two cats still don’t care for each other, but the circles of personal space are growing smaller. Enough so that they will both occupy the catio at the same time. The catio is not fancy, but it is a good size with plenty of perches. It has only taken five years for it to hold two female cats.

Happy Cat

Izzy hunkered down

Believe it or not, this is a happy cat. She has four (four!) layers of fuzzy blanket on the back of her favorite couch spot. I believe she is making herself as heavy as possible to maintain the current condition. She emanates the immovable object. It is hard to do that and look happy.

Silly cat

Sophie the cat on the pallets that hold the compost

I’m not sure if Sophie got into something in the compost heap, or was just marking territory, rubbing all over the top of the wood pallets, but she was certainly silly.

Hey, what do you call a cat made of sand?
