My photo album is my memory, especially for crafts. I’m usually several projects ahead of what I’m posting about, and remembering back to what hook or needle I used is problematic. So I take a picture.

If I can get an animal in the background of the picture, all the better.
Today I present to you the toe beans of feetsies of the mighty Thor the gray tabby cat in two of his favorite spots.

I made this cat hide several years ago when Sophie was mostly an outside cat. I would bring it in when the exterminator came, and one day the cats decided they liked it better inside than outside. It is currently Thor’s favorite place to hide and ambush passersby. The picture above is presented to you today because the cat is just so darn photogenic.
We’ve had an additional cat join the meadow colony. He is a large fluffy black tom, who has seen some scraps. I hope his notched ear was from getting fixed and not the same fight that caught his lip giving him a permanent fang exposure. He is getting along with the other cats, and gets close to me, but doesn’t trust me enough to brush him yet. On the brushing front, I currently brush two long hair outdoor cats. I’ve been able to get close enough to brush Momma cat (a long hair calico) a couple times, but she has a long memory and doesn’t trust me.

Sophie would like me to know that it is time for dinner.

She would really like to go out in the front yard, where she will await her vittles and sit in her sunny spot. I don’t actually feed her at the table. But climbing up there does get my attention when the head bumps of my leg fail to send the message.
